Cindi O’Mara is having a solo show at Partners in Art Gallery, 74 Webster Street,

N. Tonawanda. Opening reception is Saturday, August 14, 2010 from 4 to 6 PM.

 

Jean Jain will be teaching 4 classes on Chinese Brush Painting at Hyatt’s on Main Street, downtown location, on Saturdays May 1st to May 21, 2010,  from 11 AM to 1 PM.

 

Dennis Bertram has been accepted for a two-artist show at the University of Minnesota Humanities Fine Arts Gallery from October 21 to November 24, 2010.

 

DeEtta Silvestro has a painting accepted in the American Watercolor society 143rd Annual International Exhibition, and the Baltimore Watercolor Society’s 2010 Mid Atlantic regional watercolor Exhibition.

 

John Kennedy was awarded "Best of Show" for his mixed media piece "Is it crowded in here (or is it just me)?"  Held at Artspace, the show was sponsored by the National Arts Program with cooperation from the Arts Council of Buffalo, and  ran from October 23 to December 5.

 A collage by  Maureen Tooth was selected for the cover of  “All the Jawing Jackdaw” , a book of poetry by Nava Fader. An opening at Sugar City Gallery featured more of Maureen’s imagery.

 

A painting by Dennis Bertram was selected  for “Contemporary Painting" held at the Ford Gallery, Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan, from October 5 - November 5, 2009.

 

Gail Bille will be teaching a Watercolor Landscape 10 week course at Partner's in Art Webster St., No. Tonawanda) starting Friday, January 8th (1:00 - 3:30).  Interested parties should call Gail at 692-5307 or email dgbille@roadrunner.com
