The Buffalo Niagara Art Association (BNAA) organizes two exhibitions each year to support the visual arts and to offer opportunities for artists to exhibit their work in local galleries. The BNAA seeks to recognize and encourage excellence in the arts, by rewarding outstanding work.
Artistic styles within the group range range from lyrical abstraction to photo realism, all at a high level of technical mastery. Set against the historic backdrop of the Buffalo Niagara Region with its rich cultural traditions, the Buffalo Niagara Art Association is an active participant in the area’s vibrant art community. To that end the BNAA seeks to sponsor programs to benefit its members, and provide local artists opportunities to give presentations or demonstrations.
In recent years the BNAA has exhibited in the Kenan Center House Gallery and Market Street Art Center, both in Lockport; Partners in Art Complex Gallery in North Tonawanda, Niagara Arts and Cultural Center, Niagara Falls, and the Virginia Weiss Gallery at Empire State College.
